ATTENTION

On April 29, 2021, at 11:00 am the next online scientific seminar of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics will be held. At the seminar, the professor of the Department of “Algebra and geometry” of the Mechanics and Mathematics faculty, Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences Habil Dovlat oglu Fattayev will speech on the theme “Differential-geometric structures of frame bundles”.

The report will be discussed as an object of research, bundles formed by coframes and tensor frames of the type (1,1) are considered. Information will be given on differentiation and on the formula for its decomposition on a smooth manifold, on the definitions of the complete and horizontal lifts of differentiations into a bundle of coframes, as a special case on the properties of lifts of covariant differentiation, on the definition of the Sasaki metric in a tensor frame bundle of type (1,1), properties of the Levi-Civita connection of this metric, on the construction of a horizontal lift of affine connection.
