Masters of BSU have been trained under the project ECONANO

In late May, finished 3-month internship of 12 masters (including 6 students from BSU), participated in the project ECONANO under the Tempus program of the European Union. Representatives of Azerbaijan were trained in Italy (University of Rome La Sapienza), France (University Paris 13) and Greece (University of Patras). July 8-9 in Baku State University 12 Masters will protect postmagister dissertation with with participation of professors of aforementioned universities as members of the jury and scientific advisers. These days, at Baku State University will be presented to the attainment of these 12 masters. We emphasize that, Baku State University is carrying out the Econano project within the framework of the European Union's Tempus program by coordination of Sapienza University of Rome. The project involves the University of Paris 13, University of Patras, Department of Education, Caucasian University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and the private company "Azerekolab." The main goal of the project is the creation and improvement of master courses curricula on specialization “Ecology Engineering based on nanotechnology”. On the base of special programme are conducted lectures of professors of EU and Azerbaijani universities for 12 successful students which have master's level. After completing theoretical and practical courses in BSU they will be sent to carry out post-master dissertation research for three months in Italy, France and Greece.
