The next weekly seminar of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was held

24/04/2018

In the report, the speaker spoke about the theory of inverse boundary-value problems, classifications of inverse problems, and their applications. The talker gave the formulation of a nonlocal inverse boundary-value problem for a second-order parabolic equation with an integral condition and introduced the definition of the classical solution of the stated problem. Further, the original problem was reduced to the equivalent problem. Existence and uniqueness of the solution of the equivalent problem have been proved using a contraction mapping. In the result, by the equivalency, the existence and uniqueness of classical solution were obtained.

Finally, speaker answered the questions of the seminar participants.
